Serian Camp
Serian, meaning peaceful or serene in the Maa language of the Masai people, is a small, secluded owner-run camp along the side of the Mara River valley. Mara North Conservancy is teeming with wildlife and is excellent for walking and wildlife drives.
Accommodation & Facilities
Serian has five large, airy, and elegant tents, one of which suits families, which are set in the shade of large oleadendra and walburgia trees. The tents have en-suite bathrooms, some with outside showers or a bath, a flush loo, and spectacular views over the Mara River. The tents are elegantly and stylishly furnished with African arts and have full-length verandahs outside, perfect or relaxing after safari activities. The main lodge has a communal dining and sitting/reading area and indoor fireplace. Lunches and drinks are often enjoyed on the shady deck under the trees.
