Entamanu Ngorongoro

Entamanu has a unique and spectacular setting on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. The location provides views 600 metres down to the Crater floor from the rooms, and out into the Serengeti from behind the lodge, and the lodge is one of very few from which sunrise and sunset can both be seen.

Accommodation & Facilities

The camp has been set into the bush without removing any trees or shrubs and is designed to be completely removable if so required; seven stunning cottage-style rooms sit raised on platforms and all have sunrise views into the Crater, wood-burning stoves in the bedrooms to help cope with the cool climate, and hot and cold running water in the heated en-suite bathrooms. One cottage has two rooms with en-suite bathrooms configured to suit a family. The decor is influenced by the culture of the local Masai people, who have lived here for centuries, and the furniture and artefacts are all produced by craftspeople in Tanzania. The lodge has a large dining room, bar, and lounge in the cosy main building, which has the same incredible views as the cottages.

Wildlife & Activities
In addition to the fantastic views, Entamanu offers excellent access into the Crater for wildlife drives, along with walks on the rim, and visits to the local Masai communities.
