Fuzz’s Camp

Fuzz’s Camp is an exclusive-use tented camp next to the family home of Fuzz and Bimbi Dyer, third-generation Kenyans who live on Borana Conservancy. Borana lies just north of Mt Kenya, bordering Lewa Conservancy, and out on the conservancy there are wonderful views north to Ololokwe, the sacred mountain of the Samburu people. The camp itself is tucked away in the bush, private and secluded rather than set on a view.

Accommodation and Facilities
Fuzz’s Camp has five classic style safari tents with en-suite bathrooms with a shower and flush loo, and small verandahs. The camp has individual dining, a lounge and bar tent set in the shade of acacia trees, lovely gardens, and a small heated pool.

Wildlife and Activities
Guests at Fuzz’s Camp will be hosted by the Dyer family, and have access to all that Borana has to offer, including riding Bimbi’s horses from the nearby stables and wildlife drives with Fuzz to see endangered wildlife, and sundowners on Pride Rock. As the camp is exclusive-use, guests can be as active as they like, making the most of the good walking in the area, day and night wildlife drives, and riding horses. Visits to Ngare Ndare Forest, the Blue Pools, Kisima Farm and e-bike rides can be arranged and paid for at the camp. Guests are also more than welcome to stay in camp and immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.
