Xugana Island Lodge

Xugana Island Lodge is beside the Xugana Lagoon in a private concession in the Okavango Delta. The lagoon has water year round and is overlooked by a deck and al fresco dining area.

Accommodation and Facilities
Xugana Island Lodge has twelve safari tents, two of which can be combined into a family room, under thatched roofs, and positioned on the shaded fringe of the island with views over the permanent Xugana lagoon. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with inside and outside showers, fans, and enclosed verandahs. The lodge has a large main building with a lounge, bar, and dining room, and an overwater deck for sundowners and private dinners. The lodge also have a swimming pool.

Wildlife and Activities
The Okavango Delta is rich in wildlife including elephants, giraffe, zebra and hippos as well as predators such as lion, leopard and hyena, which can be spotted on day and night drives, while motorboats and dug out canoes (mokoros) give guests access to the plentiful waterways. Fishing for bream and tiger fish is also offered from March 1st to December 31st.
