Dock House Boutique Hotel

Dock House, a lovely boutique hotel in an historic building, is just a short distance from the V&A Waterfront alongside the Time Ball Tower in Cape Town. Once the Harbour Master’s private residence in the 1800s, the hotel has a charming exterior and some elaborate original Victorian interiors, including chandeliers, and ornate ceiling cornices.

Accommodation & Facilities
Dock House comprises just six rooms, one of which is a luxury suite, all with en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, a mini bar and air conditioning. Three of the upstairs rooms have balconies with views over the harbour, and the ground floor room opens onto a veranda, overlooking the garden and pool, whilst the larger suite opens up to a private and manicured courtyard garden. The hotel has its own intimate dining room, where breakfast is served, and it offers guests a choice of fine dining at Dash (at Queen Victoria Hotel) or wholesome dining at Ginja (at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel). Guests have use of the hotel gardens and pool, a perfect place to relax.
