Ndhovu Safari Lodge

Ndhovu Safari Lodge has a lovely setting on the banks of the Okavango River in Namibia’s Zambezi region. The lodge is at the northern tip of the Panhandle and overlooks Bwabwata National Park. During rainy season, the area around the lodge is often flooded, and the lodge becomes an island on the Okavango.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge has a variety of accommodation including 11 spacious safari tents with ensuite bathrooms and a terrace. The river suite is on a pontoon floating on the water and is perfect for honeymooners. Land suites, built from brick and thatch, are more luxurious and spacious, and have great views of the Okavango River. The thatched lodge has a restaurant and honesty bar, a large lawn with a swimming pool, and a viewing deck over the river.

Wildlife & Activities
The Zambezi region is home to wildlife such as elephant and hippo, and to more than 400 birds such as the black-crowned night heron, purple gallinule and carmine bee-eater. The lodge has a great location and is near the well-known Mahango and Bwabwata National Parks, and Popa Falls. Guests can go on Okavango boat cruises, fishing trips, day cruises to Popa Falls, and cultural excursions to traditional villages.
