Kusini Serengeti

Kusini Serengeti is an authentic tented camp in the southwest of the Serengeti National Park. The camp has been built into the kopjes and woodland on the edge of the vast grass plains and is well hidden from view. Climbing up onto one of the kopjes offers spectacular and far-reaching views over the surrounding rocky woodlands and seemingly endless plains.

Accommodation and Facilities
The camp has six large open-plan tents on raised platforms with en-suite bathrooms, including flush loos and showers. Each tent has a private verandah with views of the woodland which surrounds the camp. Kusini Serengeti has a mess tent with a lounge, bar, and dining room, and meals are eaten either under the stars or in the bush under a shady tree.

Wildlife & Activities
Between December and March, the wildebeest and zebra migration comes to the southern plains to give birth, and from April to November, the resident population includes lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant, and giraffe. Kusini Serengeti Camp offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round, and guests can enjoy day-time wildlife drives, walking safaris on the kopjes and in the woodland, bush meals under the stars or out on the plains, and some of the best guiding in Tanzania.
