Dinaka

Dinaka Camp is on a 20,000-hectare private conservancy just outside the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana. It overlooks a permanent water hole often frequented by the Kalahari black lion, oryx, giraffe and hyena and offers extensive views of the sprawling semi-desert landscape.

Accommodation & Facilities
Dinaka has seven spacious tents on raised decks with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers and a flush loo. One tent has two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, which works well for a family. The camp has a lovely big thatched main building overlooking the waterhole with a dining room, lounge, bar, and outside dining space, and there’s a pool on its own deck.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities at Dinaka include day and night wildlife drives and educational bush walks led by San Bushmen. Common wildlife sightings include giraffe, antelope, wildebeest, honey badger, lion, cheetah, leopard and brown hyena. View wildlife from the underground hide or spend the night on the Sleep Out Deck, a raised platform offering 360 views of the Kalahari underneath the stunning African night sky.
