House in the Wild

House in the Wild is a small private lodge on the 6,000 acre Enonkishu private conservancy in the north of the Masai Mara. The house has a beautiful setting in a patch of forest on a bend in the Mara River. Enonkishu is owned by the local Maasai people and is re-wilded land with carefully managed cattle herds sharing the grazing with wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities
House In The Wild has seven cottages and accommodates 20 people comfortably, with four double en-suite rooms by the river, and three family cottages with two bedrooms in each. Some bathrooms have outside showers, and some have inside showers or a bath. The house is fully staffed and has an excellent chef and safari guides who can help guests to plan activities. The House has a spacious main dining room, bar, and lounge, a separate thatched lounge and dining room, and beautiful gardens with a big lawn with a lovely pool.

Wildlife & Facilities
The House in the Wild offers activities including day and night wildlife drives, e-biking, horse riding, walks, farm tours, tennis, and visits to the local Maasai community. The resident wildlife on Enonkishu Conservancy includes lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, hyena, eland, wildebeest, hippo, and plenty of birds, and guests also have access to Ol Chorro and Lemek Conservancies.
