Manta Resort

Manta Resort sits on a lovely beach in the north of Pemba Island. The island is part of the Zanzibar Archipelago, lying some distance north of Zanzibar Island itself.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge has 18 rustic thatched rooms in varied sizes set in a meandering line through the gardens and along the beachfront. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and the superior rooms have air-conditioning. There is a lounge and restaurant where most meals are served and a beach lounge on the sand. An unusual feature of Manta Resort is the Underwater Room, which allows guests to sleep beneath the waves with fish swimming past.

Experience & Activities
The waters around Manta Resort offer some of the richest and most exciting diving in the world, especially drift diving, and the resort has a fully equipped PADI dive center. Guests can also snorkel, canoe, water-ski, windsurf, and fish. There is also a relaxing spa.
