Ngala Safari Lodge Private Family Villa

Ngala Safari Lodge is located in a private part of the 36,500 acre Timbavati reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Accommodation & Facilities
Comprising three bedrooms, the Family Villa features two adult rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a smaller children’s room, also with en-suite facilities. A cosy dining area offers the option of private dining or a refreshing sundowner. Two of the rooms include their own private deck overlooking the shaded riverbed, views best enjoyed from your outdoor shower. A private swimming pool and shaded lounge area ensure both children and adults have a quiet place to cool off from the sun. The villa also includes a dedicated butler, expert ranger and tracker team, and a private safari vehicle.

Public areas at the lodge include a spacious thatched living and dining room with an impressive open fireplace, a bar and a library, a swimming pool, a viewing deck overlooking a busy waterhole, and a safari shop. If opting against private dining within the villa, dinner is either served in a candle lit walled courtyard or around a roaring fire in the traditional boma. The lodge also has a gym and a massage room.

Wildlife & Activities
The wildlife in Timbavati is excellent, and lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, elephant, hyena and giraffe can often be seen. Wildlife viewing at Ngala Safari Lodge is either by open safari vehicle or on foot with an armed ranger. This tends to be done in the early mornings and late afternoons when the animals are at their most active. The wildlife viewing experience is complemented by other activities such as stargazing, bird-watching and moonlit bush dinners and bush sundowners.
