RockFig Safari Lodge

RockFig Safari Lodge is beautifully positioned in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which is adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The lodge has a commanding setting offering far reaching views across this wildlife-rich wilderness.

Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodation at RockFig consists of six lavish suites in individual cottages, with large bedrooms, spacious shaded verandahs, and en-suite bathrooms with inside and outside showers, and a bath. The beds have an Evening Breeze air-conditioning system fitted, and there’s a fan as well. The lodge has a lovely main building with an open kitchen, dining room, a lounge with an open fireplace, and an outside lounge and dining room under thatched roofs. The pool is close by, and has an infinity edge to give views of the surrounding bush.

Wildlife & Activities
Since the boundary between Timbavati and the Kruger National Park is not fenced, the wildlife is free to wander as it feels. Elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, warthog, and zebra are among the species that take advantage of the freedom to be nomadic, and can often be seen at RockFig during a wildlife drive or a bush walk.
