Sussurro
Sussurro is a thoughtfully designed owner-run boutique property, located north of Vilanculos on the Nhamabue Peninsula, which juts into the Indian Ocean, separated from the mainland by a turquoise lagoon.
Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodation is made up of just six private bungalows, each a spacious room positioned to make full use of the ocean breeze and views of he lagoon. Shared areas include a gallery, library, lap pool, restaurant, guest bar, and a yoga deck. The food at Sussurro reflects its focus on local sourcing and seasonal ingredients. Meals are enjoyed from Sussurro’s restaurant ‘Harvest Table’ with a focus on regional flavours and traditional ingredients. Seafood is bought directly from nearby fishing communities, and many of the dishes make use of indigenous ingredients such as baobab and moringa.
