Last Word Kitara

Last Word Kitara is set in the exclusive Klaserie Private Nature Reserve on 6,000 hectares of private land. The lodge is located on the Klaserie River and the reserve shares borders with Greater Kruger, allowing wildlife to wander free and is considered one of South Africa’s hidden gems.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge is made up of six spacious suites, set along the Klaserie River, which offer sweeping views of the pristine riverside setting. Suites are adjoining but not interleading. All are en-suite, with indoor and outdoor showers. The classic décor style is inspired by nature. Meals can be eaten at the main lodge, out in the African bush or under the star-studded night sky boma style.

Wildlife & Activities
The activities offered at Last Word Kitara include day and night wildlife drives and guided bush walks. The wildlife is excellent with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, zebra, giraffe and if you’re lucky wild dog and cheetah. There is the option to join a rhino dehorning or an anti-poaching helicopter flight.
