Morukuru Farm House
With a beautiful setting on a 3,500 hectare private concession adjacent to Madikwe Game Reserve, Morukuru Farm House is an exclusive safari house in the malaria free north west of South Africa, not far from the Groot Marico River. Children of all ages are welcome.
Accommodation & Facilities
Modelled on a traditional South African farmstead, Morukuru Farm House is arranged around a central courtyard, with five luxurious and spacious bedrooms set within the wings, and linked to the central part of the house by covered walkways. Each room has a large en-suite bathroom, an expansive view out across the lawns to the African bush beyond, and understated high quality furnishings. The House has an open feel, encouraging guests to let Africa in. Outside the house are spacious, well tended lawns, and 100 hectares of fenced in land that provides a huge area free from dangerous animals, in which children can run around and let off steam without worrying their parents. The House has a large terrace for outdoors meals, and a heated swimming pool.

Activities on offer at Morukuru Farm House include day and night wildlife drives with private vehicles and guides, walking safaris, fishing trips, bush meals, and the use of several hides for day-time wildlife viewing or exciting sleep outs. There are plenty of games available for children, babysitters are on offer if required and massages can also be arranged.
Walking safaris: the minimum age is 16. Over 60s need a doctor’s health and fitness certificate.
