Accommodation & Facilities
Singita Lebombo Lodge epitomises cutting edge contemporary design, inspired by eagles’ nests. The 15 spacious, elevated suites cantilever out of the rock face with stunning views of the Sweni River and hills beyond. Each air-conditioned suite has a private game viewing deck with a day bed, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, overhead fans, mini bar and fridge. The lodge facilities include a dining area with views over the surrounding landscape, open-plan lounge and bar area, library with internet access, swimming pool, wine cellar, gym and spa.
There are two 2-bedroom suites which are ideal for families. They can be taken separately or can be linked to create an exclusive-use four-bedroom villa. Each suite has two en-suite bedrooms and a private pool. If taken as a private villa, guests benefit from a full house staff and private chef (although families have the choice of dining at the main lodge if they prefer), and private safari vehicle. The villa accommodates a maximum of eight guests.
Each of the swimming pools at the lodge has steps leading into it.
Eating & Sleeping
All guests, including children, can eat anything at any time. The tapas-style lunches can be served anywhere on custom-designed trays – at the pool, in the bar or even on the roof terrace. The chefs are well versed at adapting menus to suit children or meeting special requests for homemade burgers or rolling out dough to bake their own pizzas.
Babysitting services are available.
Wildlife & Activities
Day and night game drives, and guided nature walks provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy some of the best wildlife viewing in South Africa including the Big 5 of leopard, elephant, buffalo, lion and rhino.
