Wazi Dubu

Wazi Dubu has a wonderful setting among the palms, a few yards back from Kizingoni beach near the tip of the sheltered west of Lamu Island. Kizingoni beach is miles long and looks over a channel to the mainland of Kenya.

Accommodation & Facilities
Wazi Dubu villa consists of a main two-storey villa, a courtyard garden, two separate cottages, and has six bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces split between these buildings. The rooms are designed to catch the breeze and maximise air flow, and they have ceiling fans over the beds. Some rooms open onto the garden around the pool, and others have elevated views over the channel. The house has a lovely big dining room, a large verandah with a dining table, a big lounge and loads of space outside around the pool. Meals can be enjoyed wherever and whenever guests would like them, and a team of six staff look after hospitality and the house.

Experiences & Activities
The sheltered channel in front of Wazi Dubu House is great for water sports. The house has two speedboats for water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing trips, boat trips around the Lamu archipelago and to Lamu town, and the kite surfing is excellent too. Sunset dhow cruises are a wonderful way to finish a day. The pristine and very beautiful beach is ideal for long walks or running, and yoga and massages can also be arranged at the house.
